Presentation tomorrow
Just try to relax, fake confidence if you have to. You know what you are doing so just kill it and then it's done and you will be relieved. I get that way before I do ultrasound during surgeries since I was only trained on the job and things can get tricky. I just take deep breaths and tell myself I'm am only human and I can do this. I have two tomorrow so I am in the same boat. Just suck it up and smile and do your best. I will be thinking about you.
Thank you
Hey Pharma, try this now. Imagine you before your audience, they are all wearing underwear. It is old as the hills but works..Good luck
I'm sorry this is happening to you tonight. When this has happened to me, I accept that I won't be able to sleep and do two things. First of all, I set my alarm just in case I do fall asleep, I don't oversleep and wake up late. Then, I continue working and preparing for my presentation so that I'm only tired the following day and not nervous about the presentation. The last thing I do is, I remind myself that I can always sleep tomorrow after the presentation. When that has happened to me, it's like my body and mind are on survival mode. Whatever kept me from sleeping keeps me awake the following day. Good luck! You'll do fine.
Thanks everyone for your support my presentation went great. Can’t emphasis how much your support helped me
Congrats Dharma...the credit belongs to you xx
Did you have your presentation yet? How did it go? My surgeries went fine. I did the best I could and we finished successfully. It was hard and my heart was pounding but I did it. How about you?
It actually went really good! Was nervous & did some breathing exercises before hand but got through without any major hiccups. Really appreciate your support!! Glad the surgeries went fine too. Sometimes I feel invincible for a little while when I do something outside my comfort zone like that even though it is really hard. Feeling last for a bit then I get back to my normal anxious routine hehe. Thanks again
