What helps PMS?

I am a teacher and am off for the summer. I recently have started having PMS symptoms such as anxiety and sadness. I’m already on an anxiety medication and antidepressant. What are some ways you have found relief in your PMS symptoms?

HRT! I went on this and it helped me enormously. I was getting night sweats, anxiety, depression, hot flushes etc. and it dimished it to a much more bearable level. x

Many of the things that help ease cramps can also help with PMS. Here are some different ways to relieve PMS symptoms:

1. Do breathing exercises, meditation, or yoga.

2. Get plenty of rest. Sleeping regularly every night can help with stress, mood changes, and feeling tired or fatigued.

3. Eat healthy foods like fruits, veggies (especially the leafy green ones), whole grains, and yogurt.

4. Limit fat, salt, sugar, caffeine, and alcohol.

5. Do aerobic exercise, like walking, running, riding a bike, swimming
