Tired

My mind is tired

From all the thoughts that run wild

I'm so wired

From all the worries

I can't relax

The thoughts play over and over

Like a broken record

So repetitive

Abusive people, sharp words

The games won't end

So much out of my control

Wanting someone to value me

Or even just genuinely miss me

Can't deny all of the above

My mind can't be set free

Thanks so much Jerry! I feel like I have So much more to say. Something about writing poetry is just so much better than just venting. I love it!! Especially nice when others relate.

I think it helps us when we get our thoughts down on paper. and could help others in the process. I’d recommend it to anybody suffering from anxiety and depression.

I agree as well, that's a beautiful poem! I'm not so good at poetry but I do journal and I definitely find it helpful to put my thoughts and feelings on paper

Beautiful poem but I'm thinking you want to get away from that? When I want to calm my thoughts I listen to ASMR roleplays on youtube. I don't get the the tingles they speak about but it helps me get out of my head and makes me feel like someone is being caring. Anything distracting.
