Today ,I experienced feelings of stress and complete annoyance at 4individuals on a bus going to a seaside resort,it was an unusual super day throughout,it takes about 40 mins to get there and was fairly busy both ways...so glad to get off and felt wobbly and uncomfortable had taken Kalms rather than half diazepam, but feelings like vibrations running through me as well as not feeling happy at reaching my destination -beach ,still stressed and have not taken diazepam--can sleep ok,but feeling bit downhearted about how my moods change and lack of communication, please respond.

Noisy places are uncomfortable for me when I am anxious (which is often). When I'm not anxious they don't bother me so much. It can be very frustrating, I know.

yes,I can understand that, and im usually a tolerant person but changes are slowly but surely taken over,im usually a lover of peace and quiet ;and its a nuisance when avoiding people is necessary to gain that.

Noise really freaks me out, specially loud music when I am trying to sleep at night. Used to live in a nice apartment located in a neighborhood populated by discos and night clubs. It was a nightmare come true. I have since moved to a much quieter neighborhood and am MUCH happier. Life is too short too suffer when you don't have to.

Absolutely,I would imagine it could drive you out off your home there are laws to determine whats considered to be too high/volume ect.no one should have to move ,though im glad your now happier where you are!!

Yes noise has a negative affect on me too...it can make me feel quite agitated and flare up my anxiety..even someone coughing and sneezing close to me if I’m in a situation like in a bus or train I feel agitated I start thinking I’m going to catch the germs 😩

Also someone speaking really loudly on their phone...

Maybe because I’m anxious anyway these things just add things to it..but I often feel myself feeling very agitated by noise..much more than I used to..

Your not alone

Best wishes xx

yes, its very irritating nowadays as people are too concerned with there own space to worry as to whether its affecting others ,meaning loud conversations on buses, and its all about them and their mobiles, and its encouraged by council...God help us anxiety sufferers as to whatever else they will allow.
