I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been. My self image has taken a toll because of it. I used to feel good naked, now I feel anxious any time I take off my clothes or wear a bathing suit or tight clothing. Even when I work out I have so many negative thoughts about myself. There’s so many mirrors at the gym. When I do cardio I have a hard time not fixating on the feeling of my body fat shaking. I want to lose weight, more importantly I want to eat healthier and be more active, but in the mean time I have this body. What do you do to feel good about your self image when you maybe aren’t at your best?

Hi you realise you are a lot more than your body! I am overweight tooand I don't like it but am happy in my own skin regardless. If anyone mentions my weight I just tell them it's bought and paid for. People especially loved ones don't judge you by your weight or your looks you know. They love you - the whole you and not just your appearance. x
I'm sorry you feel that way about your body. I'm heavier than I would like to be right now as well. When I want to feel better about myself, I make sure I am clean (just having clean hair and face make me feel better). I like to put on makeup ( I have acne I am self conscious about), put on cute clothes. I have found that wearing clothes that actually fit helps too! Too tight of clothes, even if they are a smaller size, just make you feel and look heavier than you are.
Good job for going to the gym! I have started taking yoga classes and even though I am one of the heaviest people there I am trying my best! I might not be able to do everything the others can but I don't think anyone really cares. Try to focus on the good things you are doing for your body by working out instead of focusing on your flaws.
