I’m recently enduring a series of migraines probably due to weather. I am finding that my imitrex worsens my anxiety symptoms especially palpitations. Am I nuts or have any of you experienced this? I was afraid to take it this am so ended up having iv toradol. Only helped a little.

I can’t relate to this specifically, but I’m sorry for your pain & suffering.

Thank you. Looks like this isn’t common among us anxiety sufferers. I had them since I was 12. Never had a problem with imitrex until this bout with anxiety. Go figure!

I take immitrex as needed for migraine. About a half hour after I take it I do get palpitations. Then they go away. At one time I had to give myself injections and the palpitations were worse but didn't last long
