Your Life Is Never Going To Be Perfect, So You Just Have To Choose Which Path to follow that makes it worth the struggles!

We all want to pick that one perfect path that lands us exactly where we want to be in life.

I find this especially difficult because I’m always comparing my life to others and getting down on myself that I’m not as far in life as they are. Plus they seem happy and content with themselves. I find myself wanting other people’s lives sometimes, but than again, I know everyone is battling something.

The truth is, every possible road that we could go down includes struggle. I guess this is why we have choices.

We don’t get to decide whether or not life throws us our hitches and challenges – but we do get some choice over which challenges we want to work on. What’s really important to us? What is worth fighting for? Who is worth fighting for? And we don’t like having problems and challenges I know. But whatever path we choose in life, there will always be struggles and we have to ask ourselves “Which path is going to make it all worth it? 💙

I was once told to do my best to enjoy the road of life, but don't forget to take the side roads along the way, some of those side roads have been the best experiences in my life. Yes there are no guarantees as to which path to take.....but the reality is....we don't have much of a choice anyways...we really have no control about most things except simple things really.....we do our best and that's good enough.

It’s definitely fun to trail off the path sometimes. Many of my side trails have been good memories too.

The really cool thing about perfection is that it is subjective. Does a tree have to be symmetrical to be perfect, or is its weathered growth part of its beauty?

Perfection, in life, does not mean that everything is easy and clean, that would be so boring that perfection would totally suck. My life is like my art, I get to determine if it is perfect. This is something that I determine, but I do not dwell on it, I just accept it. I do not measure my life against that of others and I accept that their lives may be their perfection. My goal is not perfection, my goal is contentment. If I am content, then by my definition, my life will be perfect.

Perception, perspective, and acceptance. The choices are ours.

That’s a great goal. I’m going to copy you if you don’t mind 😂 I’d love contentment.

I don’t mind at all...I attach no strings to this type of thing. If you benefit, great. If you don’t, I’m ok with that too. This way my contentment is not at risk.

With some effort you will find everything that you need. You may even find some of the things that you want.

either way... i, see life/my life as perfect, and thats it..
