Being hit..

I'd like to have a huge shout out to life and how so incredibly wonderful it is.

I grew up being hit by multiple adults. I left them though.. I got away.

Good thing life is here to pick up the slack and relentlessly test my alarmingly brittle will to survive.

Life hit me again today... same ol hit that makes me wonder if it's worth it.

A hit so deep that I act I'm actually kind of curious as to how far life is willing to go. Let's see how painful this life can really get. Keep it coming.. I want to see how far down you can beat me before I'm gone.

Things from the past can echo throughout our lives. If bad stuff happened when you were a kid, it seems to undermine strength as an adult.

Yes, I can very much relate to what you’re saying. I grew up physically and emotionally abused. I was hit a lot. And still today years later, I encounter life’s “hits” from time to time. I just want you to know that you’re not alone.
