I'm sorry if I'm rambling too much, I don't have anyone else right now. Today I talked to my old boss and he might be able to get me a job at a place I used to work at. I don't even know if I'm able to work with all this anxiety. I told him I need another month to try and pull myself together. It is something to look forward to but I am so nervous now. What if it doesn't work out. What if I can't stay calm while working. I am freaking myself out. It has to be something good, it has to be. I want to be back to my normal self again. out of my head and not walk around on eggshells all the time. Is this going to affect me or is that going to affect me. I haven't been like this for very long so I hope it goes away fast. The Anxiety is awful.......

Hi,

I'd like to know if you're receiving therapy for your anxiety, in addition to taking meds.

yes I do both, see my couselor every week and I also take meds for it. Anxiety is something new to me or at least at this extreme. I've always had anxiety, but this is ridiculous. I've always suffered from depression to varying degrees also.

Are you familiar with the books by Dr. Claire Weekes on anxiety and panic disorder? She has videos on YouTube that you can watch for free right now.

yes, I am reading her book. It's very good. Have you ever heard of the book Change your brain Change your life by Daniel Amen? a dr told me to try reading that one.

It sounds like this former boss could be a good ally to have.

I know when you’re in the anxiety, it’s hard to imagine anything better. Do you know some techniques to ground yourself better, like deep breathing or meditation?

yeah I do some deep breathing but sometimes it just doesn't help enough. usually I fidget with something in my hand. sometimes a grounding exercise will do a little bit. I do feel better than a month ago so I'm hoping in another month I will feel even better. right now anxiety is pretty high and hubby is going to work so I will be alone. I hate being alone.

Hi just wanted to mention magnesium deficiency is super common and taking a supplement could help your anxiety lots 💕 also take a b-complex and/or a powerful B-6, new studies show it helps mood quite a bit. But magnesium, when estrogen flux is happening in the brain, it drains magnesium, so you gotta replace it. Get a good magnesium powder from a health food store if you can.
