So I went to the doctor yesterday for a med check, and based on what I told her about my continued depression for the past few months, she kept my Latuda dose the same, increased my Lamictal, and added Wellbutrin in the morning. I'm not crazy about the idea of adding another medicine but I guess I'll give it a try and see how it goes. I like my doctor and feel certain she has my best interests in mind, though I'm always a little bit worried about going down a rabbit hole with the medication thing.

Medication can seem scary and confusing, especially to regular people who are not doctors or scientists. It seems like magic to us, but it really isn’t. Before doctors can prescribe drugs, they have to go through some serious training. Before drugs are approved for use, they have to go through rigorous scientific testing.
Many times there is some trial associated with medicines. I'm going through the same thing. For years Paxil took care of things but my anxiety recently has gotten worse. Wellbutrin has been added for me along with 2 anxiety medicines. I have to talk to me doctor about changing the one.
