i've seen some posts here and saw that taking pills might damage your liver. And now I'm afraid to take my medications. any help? I've been struggling lately. And hearing those things makes it worse because I do take a lot of vitamins and prescription drugs.

Ask your doctor whether your meds cause liver damage. That should settle it.

All meds both prescribed and over the counter ones can cause side effects. Unless you are low in vitamins then you shouldn't need to take any. I wonder if you are thinking of vitamin D? I know an excess of this can cause a fatty liver. It is possible to overdose on vitamins too so be cautious when taking any. They can also interfere with any prescription ones so always check with your doctor before taking any.

If you are in the UK your pharmacist should know of all drug interactions too and be able to advise you. x
