There’s many of us in this group that are having painful struggles in life. Our esteems are fragile. And there’s days where we think of just wanting to end it all.
Yet, miraculously we keep going.
Tonight I was saddened to hear about another suicide, George Foreman’s daughter. 42 years old and very accomplished. Yet I would surmise she wasn’t in touch with her feelings and her pain overwhelmingly took her life.
So my friends, though we struggle, we’re in touch with our feelings. Yes, life isn’t fair one bit. But yet we keep going. And perhaps what keeps us going is being in touch with our feelings and not letting denial overtake us. In a way we are our own nurturing warriors.
I’m grateful for this site and my heart goes out to the many here that share their feelings and are hurting. Yet, it takes courage to share and reach out for help.
Thus, how about we all take a time out from all the shit plaguing us and pat ourselves on the back for making it through another day. Because all we really have in life is each moment. Some of them hurt and some moments are beautiful.
Those are my thoughts of the day.
Hugs to all,
