Horrible job!!!!

The residents I care for are super sweet but my coworkers all hate me cause I'm not a CNA yet just a caregiver. I just apologized to one for being stupid but whatever. All I can do is my best. Ill be restarting at a new CNA class cause I learned absolutely nothing at the one I was at. The only bad part is that they do Clinicals here where I work. Yippee. It will be class everyday so ill be quitting in may here so they can all be happy about that!!! Ill be much more happy once out of this Hell!!! I'm thinking of doing home care cause that way I'm only working witb the client and not dealing with massive drama like here. I feel the hatred and I'm sick of being hated its not a good feeling. Anyhoo, I hope you all are doing great!! Sorry for the rant☺

Yikes, I'm really sorry to hear the way you were treated. Anyone willing to give their time for the betterment of others doesn't deserve that sort of treatment. So you don't have a CNA, pssssssh. I like the term "caregiver" more anyway. It actually sounds nicer and more welcoming than certified nursing assistant. I'm assuming they're just angry people because CNAs report to RNs.....so they're just passing down the grief. I'm sorry you feel hated, but they aren't worth your time anyway. A good CNA would have taken you under their wing and maybe helped you learn a few things instead of handling things the way they did. If you truly don't enjoy it, then absolutely get out, but if you DID like it, I wouldn't let these ignorant people ruin your goals and dreams. You're an amazing person for what you did and I'm sure the patients enjoyed getting better treatment from you than the dramatic CNAs. Keep spreading the love, help, and joy and don't let anyone take that from you. Have a great day

Yes I agree these ppl here are the most dramatic drama queens I've ever met!!! I love helping the elderly but hate working here at this place. Its truly a huge nightmare!!! 2 hours to go and I'm outta here for 4 days. Thanks for your kind words it truly made my month. I feel much better and I thank you so very MUCH!!!😀 I'm getting out of southern Utah and moving back home to Las Vegas!!! I was absolutely happy there and been miserable since being here!!! Hi this doesn't make sense as why would co-workers 'hate' you because you are doing a different job? It takes a lot of effort to hate someone so why would you be important enough to evoke this hatred? They might resent it or think it's unfair but that is very different.

Why are you apologising for being 'stupid'. I am sure you aren't at all so never ever put names on yourself like this! Acquaintances take you at face value so if you don't value yourself then they won't either. Also you are putting someone in a difficult position when you run yourself down and they might think you are just looking for attention. Wouldn't you feel awkward if someone said a similar thing to you? I know I would.

Sorry if this comes over as a bit harsh but I think you need a reality check. My advice is to just carry on, stay out of any drama, and think of your future plans. x

Sorry you feel like that. Be proud that you are bettering yourself. I'm in the medical field too and I am dealing with a terrible situation here with someone I manage who argues with me when something needs correcting and does what she wants anyway. It's miserable every day. I've been fuming all morning before I even got here. She talks about me every day to the rest of my staff when I leave. Of course they all tell me.

This used to be my happy place since home life is so hard.

the idea of you doing Home Health Care. I think it would fit your personality

and genuine care of others. It's on a more personal level and might give you

the satisfaction you are looking for. Believe me there are many looking for

someone like you. You will find your nitch, keep striving for what you want in

life. There is nothing better than loving the job you are in.

You've got some changes on the horizon for you, including a possible move

back to Las Vegas as well as job change. I know you can do it. You deserve to

Thanks so very very much Agora1!! Your too awesome!! I hope the move back to Vegas will help rid the depression I feel here in ugly Utah! Can't stand how the ppl treat you. Unbelievable. As far as doing home health, I like it much better cause I like spending time chatting with the ppl I care for. Plus there's no extreme drama like there is at where I work now. Its so ridiculous! Tired of it. I'm too old to deal with petty crap. Cliquish ppl and its a nightmare. Will miss the residents but for my own sanity home health is best. Especially in Vegas you get such a diversity of folks needing care. Loved my fabulous ladies I cared for!! I miss Natalie cause she passed from cancer. Was so hard when she passed and still is. Thanks again for brightening up my day!! Your so amazing and I'm so lucky to have you as a friend!! How are you doing? Everything going good? It has been a long time since we chatted!!

You are right in that you have to take care of yourself first. I hope it all works out

hey girl. I understand how you felt before about having ADHD, however remember it's just a label it's not who you are. A lot of people have Adhd i think most people don't even really understand the concept of what it is. There are a lot of famous people who are highly intelligent with Adhd. so don't put yourself down girl. Hope you have a marvelous day.
