Feeling detached, is this normal?

I thought it was from poor sleep... but now I’m not so sure. I’m able to operate/function but I feel like a robot like everything is a dream. I know what is reality though and I’m not imagining or hallucinating.

I haven't tried the meds you are on but similar medications take 4-6 weeks before the body adjusts to them. Feeling numb or not quite "with it" is normal during that time. If you are still feeling that way after 8 weeks, talk to your doctor.

"BRAIN FOG" : Some kinds of drugs -- over-the-counter and prescribed -- can cause brain fog. If you take medicine and notice that your thinking isn’t as clear as it should be or you suddenly can’t remember things, call your doctor. Be sure to let him know all the medications you take.

"Gabapentin":

Altered Mental Status

Depression

Feeling Anger Toward Something

Loss Of Memory

Mood Changes

Trouble Breathing.....Ect...ect.....

"Wellbutrin":

Abnormal Dreams

Cannot Focus Thoughts

Chronic Trouble Sleeping

Delirium......Ect...ect.....

"Call Your Doc".... Now "Brain Fog" Isn't An Abnormal Condition For Anybody. However With The Meds You Are On A Normal "Brain Fog" May Seem & Can Be FAR More Agitated.

I detach myself purposely. This helps from getting hurt by others. I am sensitive to others’ words.

I am sorry others have hurt you. Words are the most powerful thing in life. Some people are loose and careless with their words, I have experienced this. Do you have a positive and comfortable support system? Close friends that know you and you can find a happy line with them. Detachment can be a healthy thing. It protects us from something we might be facing that is dangerous or may hurt us. It saves us from regret later. Just finding the healthy balance of detachment can be a good thing. Being around people that are positive and you can share your feelings with will help. I found this article very helpful in my situation. Praying for you , bit.ly/2IJ9Ohl
