I have to quit therapy due to not being able to afford it anymore due to some unseen financial circumstances. I’m feeling super discouraged and scared.
Is there any cheaper routes or maybe something online that you guys know of?

Hello Mavis12,
I'm sorry to hear about this roadblock in your treatment. One good resource for finding a therapist at reasonable rates is through Open Path. I have used this service to find an online therapist in the past and would recommend it:
I wish you the best and hope everything works out for you. Take care and be well.
Although this isn't exactly therapy, it is an online support group where you can talk about your issues, and be supported by people who are going through the same thing as you. It is called the DBSA (depression bipolar support alliance) It is a free site with lots of resources. If you are lucky, there will be an in person weekly meeting you can go to also. I do both, and it is helpful to be able to discuss issues that people actually understand! I wish you luck.
There's always another way. Supplements for one. There's some pretty good ones that will help most major problems. A better diet is always a help. Getting out in the sunshine + vitamin D is helpful. 30 mins of light to moderate excercise daily is helpful. I know all kinds of things that don't cost a fortune that can help. If you would like some specifics, let me know....
