Arm Pain

It seems like my anxiety is always trying to find a new way to come out. If it can’t get to me with catastrophic thoughts. It tries through shortness of breath. If it can’t get to me that way it’s arm pain. I keep telling myself that it’s ok and to accept the anxiety and that I’m ok. The struggle is so real. I’m sooo tired of feeling like this.

Hi, I’ve noticed my arm pain reduces when I drink more water mixed with pink Himalayan salt. This salt is full of minerals and really helps me. I wish you all the best!

Hi Eva you definately got problems have you seen your doctor lately if not it might be worth doing so if only rule out any problems! Have you been diagnosed with anxiety or depression as this maybe the problem! I wish you all the best david!

Dear Eva - know you have mental health problems but I read recently that some people with milk intolerance can experience anxiety, painful arms and shoulder. This was a surprise as I have loads of food intolerances which affect my digestion. Stress can trigger it off. You could ask to have some food intolerance tests, including milk dairy egg and gluten even though you have no obvious symptoms as sometimes many years can pass with these histamine intolerance which cause inflammation, and triggers for pain.

If it is reassuring a pain in the arm, might be due to neuralgia or posture- it is weakness in the arm and tingling in the hand, which can be signs of more serious illnesses. Autoimmune disease in the form of muscular, or inflammation even in the brain can be real physical triggers to your mental and physical health. As you have been diagnosed under mental health specialists sometimes other triggers are not know about. If it were me I would ask your nurse for food intolerance tests to tick all the boxes. If you are in the uk you can be assessed for celiac disease, but if you have more intolerances then the test is limited to the above foods.

A tip might be to pinch the other arm to divert the pain receptor in the painful arm which increases with muscular tension may be from the upper shoulder nerve in the shoulder blade and running down your arm? Another tip is to massage the palm of your left hand in the centre and round between the thumb to stimulate the nerve to your heart, Magnesium carbonate might relieve the pain. I take an indigestion tablet Renies or even a peppermint calcium sweet. We have mint polos which can help the cramps UK .

Eating a banana and having a drink of tonic water may help the pain in your arm. The potassium and magnesium in the banana can give near instant relief with muscular pain for some. The tonic water contains quinine which helps muscle spasm as well. Hope you can get some sleep as you must be weary after several nights without proper sleep.
