It's been a long haul to get to this point where I'm reaching out to complete strangers for comfort and help.. but I'm desperate, for a couple months I thought I was having heart trouble in my thirties.. after getting work up, couple ER visits, and seeing cardiologist I've almost completely accepted I have anxiety issues.. my MD told me I have GAD and it's out of control, heart palps, pain that moves around my chest daily, pain in arm, twitching in face and cheek... wakes me up middle of night last couple of night to the point where lately I've been apprehensive to actually sleep... if anyone has same experience and any advice please reach out to me I would greatly appreciate it.. Thank you all and continue to fight on

Yes, have had the same experience, except I went throgh CT scans, MRI screening, pulmologist, gynecologist, endocrinologist and so on. Every doctor you could imagine! Untill I started to accept the POSSIBILITY of me being anxious. I don’t fully believe in it yet, but am starting to feel like maybe it is possible. And I’m 21 years old, still in college and every day frightened to death that I will have either a heart attack or a stroke or disease, every medical issue you could name - I have already checked and been frightened of them all.
I am going to psychologist now and take medications and my panic attacks are under control but sadness that I feel is with me always. I hope you will be better soon and wish you all the luck
Wow I'm sorry to hear you are going through it too! Thanks for responding and I was wondering from all the exposure you've had with the experts is there anything they have suggested that works?
Well doctors didn’t really help me a lot, only my psychologist. He taught me breathing tehniques and told me to have a diary of personal growth - for every irrational tought of mine I should write down 3 logical contra-arguments. But I’m only on the beggining and will see how it goes, but I do feel a slight relief. I take antidepressants and also Magnesium before bed which also works as a musle relaxant and it regulates heart rhythms...
