LEGALLY WHAT CAN I DO ?? louisiana

My 20-year-old daughter has always battled depression, anxiety and even self harmed yourself (cutting)... for years and I had no idea (that’s another reason why I’m down on myself

a lot), but that’s not my point at the moment... my point is my daughter told me that she’s trying to better herself- & doing what makes her happy (which legally & Health wise is not good for her)..... But, I told her I was “extremely excited” that She is happy —-but then in-turn , she told me 2day that she still is “not” in a good place in her mind. HELP

WHAT CAN I DO LEGALLY ?? She’s on probation and still smoking pot, drinking, living with her boyfriend & 3 other people with drug arrest records. She has chosen to live in an old rundown trailer (that’s from the 70’s), no heat ,for a month there was no hot water because They could not afford the gas bill & there are no light switches !! everything is ran off of extension cords !! The bedrooms don’t have doors there’s curtains hanging ...y’all I am sick to the stomach . Their neighborhood is full of crime & always in the paper (drug related) ... The police know but nothing really gets done !! ANY suggestions ???? because of her age , what can I legally do (if anything) and she’s breaking her probation as well and just not living right But I have high concern when she told me her mind was still not in the right place— seems like I heard in the past, someone said the coroner can mandate hospitalization, not sure tho!! ANY & ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOMED !!

Hi, it is hard, tough love is never easy. I had a child kinda like this, and trust me, tough love is not for whips. I would can get probation/parole person and let them know what's going on. I had to take out a "CHINS" ORDER. Eventually her taking off landed her in a juvenile detention center. It was hard, I also reminded her how much I love her, but I made her accountable for her own actions, I would let police know about her missing in alcohol and drugs. And call her parole officer. So sorry to hear your daughter is struggling. And that you are suffering as a result. Hugs to you!

How would you know she was self-harming? Please let that go... that's not your fault. Teens/young adults are so good at keeping things from their parents. Including any and all signs that they are struggling!

Is she working? School?

Has she ever been in therapy? Would she be willing?

her friends told me of her cutting- she is working at childcare, quit school.. I brought her to 3 different counselors & primary dr- she has stopped taking her Prozac & b.control. She will Not go to therapy
