Why is the post still up?

There was a very disturbing post last night. I reported it to administration. It is describing child abuse. I don't understand why it is still up. I hope to God that someone has intervened for that poor child.

I completely understand why you want the post taken down; it’s very disturbing. But, we need to get through to this person! I’d feel bad if the post got taken down and she left the site to continue to allow this abuse to happen. We have to try and talk to this person into taking action against the child’s abuser. This is pretty serious!
