I used to love school but now I moved so we have much more free time and we sit outside and hand out with our friends. I don’t have many since I left my BFF and I have social anxiety. Any tips on how to make friends or make school more fun?

Hi it's hard to give any advice without knowing your age. Are you getting any medical help? If you are still a minor (under 16) you would need to have your parents involved but not if you weren't. Can you take yourself to get some help? What is your situation? x

I’ve thought about asking for help but I’m too shy. I feel like no one would understand and they’d think it’s just a “phase”. I am trying to help myself

You must have a school counsellor so why not make an appointment to see them? They won't judge you and might be able to help x

For making friends-try joining a club your school offers. Even if you’re not entirely sure if you will be super into it it’s worth a shot! I regret not joining more clubs when I was in high school.

I do agree with Hypercat54; talking to your school counselor is an excellent idea. Or maybe your school nurse.
