Does anyone else on any type of antidepressant experience restless leg syndrome? I read there is a link between antidepressants and this condition and I want to know if anybody else experiences this as well.

Restless leg syndrome
Ooh interesting! I take 150mg sertraline for anxiety and depression and I've been getting restless leg syndrome and leg cramps recently. I put it down to my fibromyalgia, that causes strange sensations, it never occurred to me that it could be the medication. I might have to look into that. Is it a general thing or certain drugs?
I read it’s just general antidepressants. It has something to do with dopamine and serotonin in the brain!

Oh yeah actually that sounds familiar. Mine hasn't been as bad the past week or so since I started back on something I was taking for fibromyalgia so it might not be that in my case but something to watch out for. Maybe a doctor or pharmacist could advise you on side effects of medication but keep taking the meds unless a professional tells you to stop, that's not the kind of medication you can just stop without careful regulation. Hope things improve for you soon x
