Hi, I came across some interesting research on vitamin B12 deficiency and how it's linked to depression. Apparently when vitamin B12 levels are low, an amino acid "homocysteine' builds up and this is not good for depressive symptoms.I found it quite interesting. Does anyone else know anything about this? Thank you for your feedback

I was doing some research on fatigue related to bipolar 2. I read just yesterday that vitamin B12 can help. Thank you for the reminder. I will take some today.
I know lack of vitamin B12 can lead to mental health issues. The doctor can do tests to check if you ask but it might be worthwhile just buying some in a health food shop to see if it helps.
There are times when supplements won't help and only periodic injections of the vitamin help but this is quite rare. x
