Anxiety and panic attacks

I'm new here.

I recently got diagnosed with anxiety and panic attacks. Currently on mirtazapine. Anyone else got "globus" feeling ?

Globus is like when you have a constant feeling of a lump in the throat.

I did that for about three weeks but then they switched to something else and I've had two more switches since then I wish I had more to tell you but I wasn't on a long enough to form an opinion..

I feel your pain! I’ve had that lump in my throat/gagging feeling for weeks now and it’s driving me insane!! I’m trying to wean off Ativan which I don’t think is helping and am supposed to start the Mirtazapine tonight. Did it help you at all?

My lump was caused by acid reflux. Mirtazapine helps with sleep a lot. I will stop eating it now because I feel I don't need it anymore. You should check with your doc if you might have acid reflux.
