Write to recovery

I just thought I’d share this organisation with all you people living/working in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. I recently attended a 9 week writing class which I found extremely encouraging and I met a fantastic group of people-very diverse and each person unique and equally inspiring. Learning about yourself and how you cope with life in your own way through writing is immensely cathartic and I feel I connected with the most unlikely of people. So please, if you’re looking to spread your wings and let in some light... consider a group of this sort! You don’t need to be Shelley or Keats.. one woman wrote in lists. It’s fun, supportive and thought provoking without being intrusive or emotionally damaging.

Awww that was nice of you to say that too. I love to share what information I have, I think it’s very important.. and if one person takes even a pinch of solace in a word, gesture or picture shared then my work is done. As people we are easily affected by the world around us... so let’s use that attribute positively. ✌️

It was truly a worthwhile experience... and after the 9 weeks - it’s possible to continue the group- and access facilitator training to assist with your own personal development. The tutors are very accepting and understanding... and really it’s down to you how much you share or what you write. It’s a bit like opening Pandora’s box and then shutting it quickly again. Every week you become stronger to let go a little bit more!! 📚 🖊 fabulous concept!
