I have one, and I love it! It has helped me with falling and staying asleep. I was aways super heart aware when it came to bed time, with the blanket I do not notice my heart beat. I really can’t say enough great things about it.

I ordered mine from Amazon. I will copy the link below. I fall asleep within 30-40 minutes now instead of my usual 2-3 hours. No more waking up every hour either. Totally worth the investment. You’ll love it.

Yes! I totally recommend the weighted blankets. It makes me fall asleep so much faster, and stay asleep. It just calms me down and makes me feel secure. Yes, they can be a little pricey, but they are totally worth it.

I'm really interested in a weighted blanket too!! I've faced some really miserable years until recently with crippling nerve/muscle pain (from injury though, not fibromyalgia) coupled with anxiety, and I found that anything that made me warm and let me lie more comfortably helped across the board, at least a bit. And often, something that comforts you and lessens your anxiety can also help immensely with physical pain. Have you found this to be the case with your fibromyalgia?

Anyway, I hope you try one and it helps you! It seems a wonderful item for just about anybody in any case. Good luck! <3

tamka, I have not purchased a weighted blanket because of my Fibro, I wouldn't be

able to stand the weight on me. However, the last time I saw my psychiatrist, he

told me he was using something new with his patients. Lo and Behold, he pulled

out a weighted blanket, had me lie down on the couch and covered me with it.

He continued to have me deep breathe as he turned on a CD of Meditation and

Imagery. It is an expensive purchase but if it works you would get that back

ten fold in sleeping better each night. xx

Oh sorry, when he use it on u, what did u think about it? Did u let him know u have Fibromyalgia? Do u take medication to help u with the pain? Am praying for u, because I know all about pain am always in pain and every-time I go to the doctor they keep saying am ok am going to see 2 doctors tomorrow
