Lately depression is at a high right now. Not sure why. Can't seem to shake it. None thing but emptiness on the inside.

Sometimes there seems to be no reason, even though we feel there should be a reason. Hope it lifts some soon for you!

My counselor told me it is possible to fill the emptiness with healthy coping mechanism. I have had some very unhealthy coping mechanisms in the past and the emptiness got worse. Recently I have been keeping myself busy at work, at home ( cleaning, decorating, cooking, etc) and doing a lot of reading and writing. It appears very effective to me. Hope you feel better soon.
