I am new here. I always feel sad nowadays , very sad. I feel empty inside , I’ve tried so many therapists , one pill , new friends , a new career , a new city , and still I am so unhappy.
Im discouraged , everyone around me is so annoyed with my negativity and don’t know how to handle me. I feel bad for them , but also for myself , it’s not my fault , but it isn’t theirs either.
Im so sad.

Moving from place to place, different therapists, different friends, etc. does not appear to be helping you. Instead of changing external circumstances, try to change your own thoughts and feelings. Pick one therapist and stick with that person. Therapy and change can take time and you just have to stick with it.
You are among people here that understand what you are going through 100%. What I’ve found in managing my own depression is that sometimes for something to stick with me I have to really understand what it is that i need. Not what anyone else needs or wants for me. What I know in my soul and in my heart that I need to be healthy. And if you’re not sure what that is, try to think about things that bring you comfort and happiness and start by incorporating those things into your life everyday. If you honestly can’t think of anything right now that makes you happy, that’s ok. Things will come along and just pay attention to what makes you smile even a little or laugh. I think most of us on here have gone through a lot of therapists, medications and friends to find situations that work for us. Unfortunately, it does take time. But you are already doing so good to reach out to us at this group. Maybe there’s a local support group of people that you could connect with that also understand? Trust us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You’ll find what you need and things will get better.

I have felt like this multiple times. But this is an inner job. I know you want to change, because we seek for change, we try and we try, but sometimes it seems that never is gonna be enough. Each day you should see it as a new opportunity to get better. Consider that our days are blank papers, we are responsible for what we are writting. Just because yesterday you annoyed someone with your negativity that doesnt mean the next morning you Will do the same. I also advice you to insist in your treatment and do the things you like. Taking care of your spirituality is crucial as well. Take care, everything will be fine.
