I get panicked and scared being at work every day. It reminds me of being at school each day. All the cliques, forced conversation, staring, awkward silence, pretentious behavior. I hate doing this and feeling judged.

Scared
I know what you mean! It's like we're all human and people shouldn't judge others, especially just to make themselves feel better. Those awkward silences and forced conversations are the worst!
Who is judging you? Are you judging others? x
I always feel judged in these environment a because I'm introverted and not outgoing. It always happens. It's pressure to be someone else.
Trust me no one is judging you. Why should they? Are you important to them for some reason? They will be much too busy thinking about themselves and their own lives to worry overmuch about anyone else. x
Well, what kind of work do you have where you feel so badly? I agree with hypercat- most people are too busy, and also are focused on their own work.
I have similar feelings about work. I just try to get through the day, keep my head down, and earn my paycheck. I don’t let my job define who I am. It it’s still really hard to do it everyday. I understand.
Those feelings are the worst. Do you feel like you are being judged or have people actually been saying things? As an introvert myself I know how hard it is to feel accepted as I am, but I have also learned to just ignore what others think and what I "think" others think. I too wish people would grow up at some point and stop acting like they did in school. Maybe you can find a way to relax at work like listen to music or read at lunch? Maybe go for a walk as well to help with the anxiety. Try not to let the stress get to you, most of the time people don't even notice us the way we think they do.
Do you have any headphones where you can listen to some music? Or do you work on a computer where you can just turn some music on or a radio station? I know of a couple really good radio stations that are uplifting and inspiring - K- Love radio, Moody Radio and YNOP radio. you can get all of these stations on the computer.
Sometimes music can relax and calm your stress. I hope this can work for you.
Yes, I listen to self help videos, meditation songs, but its a long day
Moodchange,
Good evening! Do you ever go out and do anything fun outside of work? Have you tried stepping outside of your comfort zone and maybe bring some cookies to work and share them with your co- workers?
Our minds are good at playing tricks on us, making us think that all people are always thinking the worst of us and mot of the time, people are not even thinking of such things. Try finding something that you might have in common with one person there and start up a conversation. I hope these suggestions might help. Keep Your Chin Up!
Well, I hope you do that in your free time- never worked at a place that allowed for this. Good luck to you.
