Trust

I knew this guy over a year and I really liked him and during the time that I like them I found out he had quite a bit of flaws and I kind of confronted him about it and all he has done was just lie and come up with excuses and a couple days ago because of him I lost a friend so now I don't know what to do I've tried talking to her but she won't talk back to me so what should I do
