Sarah2000, it is never wise to stop medication cold turkey. What made you stop it suddenly. Does your doctor know? You need to call him. The withdrawal symptoms can continue for quite a while. You need to stay safe when coming down off mind altering meds.
Hello thank you for your reply. I wasn't on repeat prescription.. I went away during school holidays with my kids... I ran out of tablets whilst o holiday.. I felt ok and didn't feel the need.. after a week I started feeling like this. My insomnia is really really bad docs put me on sleeping tablets but I don't want to get addicted to this. Also I was told that citalopram is not addictive. X
You don’t suddenly stop antidepressants! You slowly wean off of them. Why did you stop suddenly without consulting the prescriber?
Hi get another prescription sorted, did your mood improve with them if so your doctor probably trialed them for a month so will put them on repeat if you have improved I’m sure a phone consultation on Monday can arrange that.
