I saw the 2nd eye doctor today about my double vision. What she said both annoyed me & made me angry.
You see, I’ve been telling my PCP for years that there was something seriously wrong with me.😡😡😡😡😡
Maybe now she’ll listen!
Turns out that I’ve been having a series of TIAs (small strokes) that is finally now affecting my vision. Thank you, Lord, for sending me to REAL doctors!
May not be on here much...have a headache that no pill can resolve. Probably another damn cluster headache. It’s the right time of day for it.
I love you all very, very much...and will NOT be dying from this.
I have something I have to do...& it’s not completed yet!

Lakewolf, I am so very sorry to hear that nothing was done in the years you complained to your PCP regarding your double vision. That's unforgivable that the real symptom was overlooked. That's very unusual for an eye doctor to miss a health issue since so much can be told by looking in one's eyes.
Cluster headaches the most painful of all headaches, worse than migraines I understand. What is the next step for you? A Neurologist?
Could you explain your last sentence in your post regarding "having something to do" and "it's not completed yet". Just wondering what that might be. Please keep us updated. xx
BTW, it’s the eye dr that Dx’ed it. My family dr. thinks it’s nothing. I hope to God my cousins don’t come up from GA...she would NOT want to deal with them!!
I have chronic migraine, which I just learned predisposes me to them.
Got glasses today that allow me to see one image (not two) at a distance. The eye dr’s going to put a prism in the one side so I’ll be able to see 20/20 at a distance.
BTW, it’s my family doctor that doesn’t think it’s a big deal. She will, though...Chris is on the warpath.
