Is anyone religious! I believe that money is the root to all evil. I understand it’s important but why did the devil make us worth money. Should be priceless to live this precious life god has given us

Im not religious yet I do believe in the bible but I would say the root of evil is not money but the LOVE of money! Greed! Money itself is a means to an end.

Money is neither good or bad. It simply a means to an end. It is a great good in the sense that it allows us to conduct commerce with each other. Before money their was the barter system. Which was ok but you need stuff to barter with. If you were poor you were in bad straights. Eventually you ran out of stuff to barter with. Money can be earned and printed. It’s our broken human nature that causes us to abuse money and be greedy. It’s not the physical money that is evil but how we as humans can elevate money to a God that is morally wrong.

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. It is those who value money over people and relationships who are the most spiritually bankrupt in my opinion.
