First post....hello everyone. I'm trying to learn to fight this anxiety. It's been a year and finally got some help. I was given Zoloft which makes me feel weird at the end of the day. It's only been 10days but I've been LIGHTHEADED and sometimes numbness on different limbs. Normal or not?

Lightheaded
I haven't been on any medication yet but I do know that if you're having those side effects you should talk to your doctor as soon as possible. I hope you feel better soon.
Zoloft didn’t work for me, I did not like the side effects. The numbness is alarming to me, I would definitely report that
I’ve been on Zoloft 100mg for many years. I weaned off several months ago and ended up back on it. This medication works great for me. It does take a full 4-6 weeks to get full benefit. Any SSRI medication will most likely have side affects until you are fully weaned onto or off the medication. Sometimes it can actually increase anxiety as your body adjusts to the new serotonin levels, but that goes away for most. I’ve never experienced numbness in any limbs. I’m unsure if this is a typical side effect or not. I agree with everyone else, call your doctor and let him/her know what you are experiencing.
Keep us updated and let us know how it goes.
Wishing you the best.

I'll keep you guys posted thanks for the help
Normal. Zoloft, Paxil...sucked for me. Avoid at all cost, Topomax. My pharmacist and my doctor call it 'Stupidmax!' ( Boy, is it!)
Ativan helped me but not totally. I do hope all works out well for you!
