Changed the time. Hard time adjusting

Against_the_current profile image

Here we have summer and winter time and i found out that today they changed it so it's 1 hour ahead. I have been having problems with time even before and now's worse. I have been feeling 4 hours behind and now i'm feeling 5. I can't believe now it's 10pm, i feel like it's 5pm. If it was the previous time it would be 9pm and i would be feeling like it's 5.

I hate that I feel like I always need to know what time it is... like I wish I could just chill.

Compulsion probably. But i don't have problem with this. My problem is that i don't give a damn about what the clock says, to me it's my time 😅. And this is bad because i feel bad, it breaks my circadic rythum and i stay up till late, and i can't adjust to schedules

I'm sorry. 😥 Hopefully you can adjust soon. Does it happen every year?

Hi and thanks for your post 👍

I wonder if you ever been diagnosed with Seasonal affective disorder (SAD). This is a type of depression that's related to changes in seasons. SAD begins and ends at about the same times every year.

If you're like most people with SAD, your symptoms start in the autumn and continue into the winter months, sapping your energy and making you feel moody. These symptoms often resolve during the spring and summer months.

Less often, SAD causes depression in the spring or early summer and resolves during the autumn or winter months.

Treatment for SAD may include psychotherapy and medications. Light therapy might be recommended (phototherapy).

Please don't brush off that yearly feeling as simply a case of the "winter blues" or a seasonal funk that you have to tough out on your own. Take steps to keep your mood and motivation steady throughout the year.

Wishing you all the best from me in Oz 🦘

I don't understand what the problem is for you. Almost Everyone in the World had to "spring forward" one hour last weekend. It happens every year.
