my friend told my she has depression and anxiety and i dont know how to help her. she moved away a few days and i cant even talk to her face to face ,how can i help her?

I'm sorry about your friend. But have u tried texting her you know little text messages here and their just to check up on your friend?

Encouraging words help alot. Reassuring her that she is ok help. Alot of people think it doesn't but it does help. Send her funny quotas funny links. Just something. Itll help in the long wrong. Hope your friend is doing well

You can give her encouragement but she has to be the one to put the work in. Is she getting help from a Dr., that's the first step, tell her you'll go with her!

Oh sorry I just read she moved away. I would still try to get her to seek help!

she tried seeing a therapist and it didnt work and now that she has moved ,she doent want to try again.

Somehow someway you must convince her that it's the best thing for her! Maybe tell her about this site & the info you've been given from folks here! I sure wish you all the best with her! Sometimes you need to keep seeking other therapists, we don't always connect with ones! XXX

It sounds like you are a young person. Could she just be upset because she moved away from friends? Change can be hard. Hopefully, she didn't move too too far away and you can still visit.

You know her best, but how about just being a good listener? Perhaps send her a card with a picture of something to which she can relate.
