Coping mechanisms

Does anyone want to share their coping mechanisms for anxiety? I exercised for a bit today and I felt like it eased my mind. Although it was temporary relief. It felt good to have a break from the unhappy feeling.

I also exercise and it helps. I also read a lot, mysteries, and that helps me too.

I exercise as well, it relieves my mind for a moment and gets me tired, which is good for a good night of sleep. I read a lot but when I'm more anxious than usual, I can't concentrate. I usually watch something os listen to music.

Meditation and yoga are great for anxiety, I have found no better exercise ever for anxiety. There are also very effective medications for it.

This is a good question. I have realized that past few days that I am in a constant state of anxiety. I was going to research this very question tomorrow.

I like to listen to positive affirmations, meditate and write down my feelings. One other thing I love doing is listening to podcasts on my iPhone. Exercise definitely helps me take out my anger. If my mind is racing too much I can’t concentrate on my workout and it’s too much for me to complete my workout. I also like to look up different aspects of my anxiety to learn to cope. Tonight I looked up neediness and ways I can work on it. I find that to helpful and I write down the suggestions in my journal.

Good suggestions. I've also started looking for podcasts on my iPhone. It seems to help to have something to listen to in case your mind starts racing.

Yes they help a lot. I like to listen to a Harry Potter channel and I also looked up anxiety channels
