Totally understand how you feel. It stinks when you don’t have any control over your emotions. Try to think of all the good things in your life, steady breaths and try to concentrate on the positive. This helps me. Also look into a natural supplement GABA. It will help

Sorry don’t know what CBD is?

It is horrible. I understand. I’m here to talk with. Just so you know.

Ahhh the dreaded anxiety roller coaster. I unwillingly ride it daily. I feel for you and totally get it. Right when I feel like I have a grip, another wave hits. I have faith I will find balance and feel back to my old self again with time, therapy, patience, and support. Until then, just hold tight and breath knowing that the ride does end.

Completely understand because I am going through the same thing as you are. It's the toughest thing in the world to be sitting at a desk and feel like you are slowly splintering inside.

What I do is drink a hot cup of chamomile. I keep my ears plugged into the 10 hour version of Marconi Union's track called Weightless, and force myself to focus.

I have also started working in advance to reduce my stress.

I hope it helps to know you arent alone

You may do this already, but sit at your desk and take deep breaths. Hold them a few seconds and breath out through your mouth. Get some oxygen to your brain. Think of the most relaxing place you can imagine. Tell yourself that we're all just passing through this earth and you are having one of the millions of momentary experiences that others are having right this moment. You belong. If you're alone, close your eyes and say a prayer to connect with whatever higher power you can imagine, even if it's the lifeforce of the earth. Look around. Feel your feet on the ground. Notice the colors and patterns in something around you. Listen to the sounds of your workplace. Touch something on your desk and notice its texture. What does your workplace smell like? You can also write a poem down and try to memorize it. Do some math problems. All these things are tricks for your brain, which can't focus on your anxiety and other things at the same time, at least not very well.

Of course, which ones you do depends on whether you have a private office or not! I used to be terrified of driving over bridges - am still not crazy about them, but I can deal with them - and reciting poetry while driving a bridge helped me avoid thinking I was going to lose control and go over the rail into the water.
