Cigarette

I currently quit smoking. I used to smoke many years ago, mainly after a meal. A pack would last me 2 weeks or so. I picked up smoking a few months ago smoking a few a day. To be honest I wasn’t enjoying them at all but I felt so stressed and anxious that I would use them I noticed recently when I was smoking that I’d become nauseous and sometimes they’d s. me a headache. I see that as a blessing cause it caused me to quit. I think the meds I’m on didn’t mix with the cigarette

Hi I was a smoker for many years and have never heard of any meds reacting against cigarettes so I doubt it's that. Depression and anxiety can cause your symptoms so I think that's far more likely. x

Just because you haven't heard of something, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Not saying it doesn't!

If you stop smoking during a course of medicine sometimes the dosage has to be changed.

Kudos for getting rid of the cigs! Have you tried meditation. I don't mean humming a sound, not that. What I do is kinda like writing a story in my mind. In fact I had to do it last night when I was anxious. Last night I was walking on a beach. I think of how the damp sand squishes between my toes. The tide is out so the gentle waves are just lapping my feet. I won't go into the whole scenario but what do you feel, warm or cool breezes? What do you see, other people, birds, boats, sunset or sunrise. On and on the story goes. All nice thoughts. Other times I'm walking a trail in the forest. Go anywhere. Good luck.

Thank you for the response. I’ve tried meditation before many times. I’ll use Binaural frequencies, but I tend to get negative intrusive thoughts. I know I should stay the course with the meditation but most of the times I don’t do them cause of the intrusive thoughts. I guess I’ll give it a try tonight. I’ve read so many benefits to consistently meditating, that I should really try and commit. Thanks again. Many blessings. Samson

Try my way. Who knows? Maybe the thoughts will be easier to ignore. I do know other thoughts distract you when trying to meditate as you have been doing. As quick as they come, just let them go and get back to what you're suppose to be doing. Its normal for other thoughts to come and go. I wish you the best. Hugs
