Can anxiety or depression make you not feel yourself? Can it make you feel like you're losing control?

Yes, it can. One of the best that have worked for me is writing, no matter what time of day. Get it all out and it doesn’t have to make sense. Where we might feel like we are losing control means that our mind is trying to make sense of things. And it’s ok to feel that way. Meditation also helps with keeping focused on the present. You can look up guided meditation sessions and it can possibly help. Yoga is another thing to consider. I was watching yoga with adrienne on YouTube. It helped a lot. In fact, I will try that today. Depression makes me feel uncomfortable in my own skin. Anxiety can make me feel like things are out of control.

Yes. I have both, but not as often. It did make me feel like I was dying. Hard to describe, but it is pull hell.

I feel the im going to die thing, and this stuff is usually pretty constant for me

My depression certainly makes me.feel so down to the stage i get black thoughts a lot ! I find that talking.to others with in this group helps and also my family and friends having a support network is important as you can share how you are feeling with others dont bottle it up thats the worst thing.you can do !
