Mental illness ruined my relationship

It’s all over .

I lost someone very special to me. We both have a type of mental illness and it completely destroyed us. She was my best friend and girlfriend all in one and now she wants nothing to do with me.

I’m broken.

I'm so sorry that your relationship is at an end and clearly very painful for you. I think it can be particularly difficult to sustain good relationships when you both have difficulties. You never know what the future will bring so it's worth holding onto that thought even though it really hurts right now. I think all you can do right now to be kind and compassionate to yourself and look for any glimmer of light that shines on your day. Take care my friend

I'm so sorry your best friend is no longer with you, my husband at first seems to be having a hard time of what I'm going through I don't think he understood what was going on until I was hospitalized twice last year and talking to him what I'm going through he finely then slowly showing a better attitude towards me. Just hear on the news just now that Kate Spade has been battling Anxiety and Depression for the last 5 years and took her life yesterday. I know things will get better and it will, God knows what we're going through he also went through a lot, but I know that we will get through this.

Sorry to hear that, what kind of mental illness? Anxiety? You're here. I can imagine a couple both having mental illness,. Each trying to deal with it and then each other's? Hopefully you'll both get help? Who knows what would happen if you did?
