Has something happened to make you this way on your birthday?

Birthdays are always tough, but I’ve been feeling lousy all week and today it sort of blew up. Im trying to keep it together but it’s very hard

Hi

To be honest birthdays can make me feel down too. I’m not sure exactly why, maybe something to do with looking back a bit and reflecting,or the coming of age, or the fact that mostly people are happy on their birthdays, so there are expectations of us...I have felt down in birthdays too...

I do hope you can manage some peace for the rest of this day 🌺🌼🌺🌼🌺🌼 sending gentle hugs xx

Sending positive thoughts your way!! Maybe try to find something that makes you happy today, even a small thing like a song you like, or a TV show, indulge in a treat you normally wouldn't (for me it would be a Friendly's Reese's Pieces Sundae!) or just doing something you enjoy for a few minutes to help offset these feelings. Sometimes that helps snap me out of it when nothing else will!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I wish there was a way we can all meet up to throw bday parties for each other 😂!

I don’t feel good on my bdays either. Makes me feel lonely even though I’m not :/ and plus I hate being center of attention.

I get that feeling on my birthday too. For me I think it’s because birthdays normally are associated with gatherings, being happy, centre of attention; all this is hard when anxious. Plus change in routine. Hope it gets better for you :) and happy birthday

Try thinking about something you enjoyed yesterday. Maybe write about it.
