welcome parsh....and the best advice I could give you is patience with yourself. By reading others comments, posts, and sharing your own story's is a great way to interact and understand others with similar issues as your own. It's a life long journey, no short cuts, or magic pill....some of us like myself take SSRI's...others do not and have other methods of dealing with their depression and anxiety.
Thanks for the advice. I do actually have a psychiatrist (meds) and a psychologist (talking). I have taken an SSRI for many years now with decent anxiety control, but had two depressive issues while being on this med.
I have been on top of this episode better than any of my other depressive times. Meds, sleep, food, exercise, etc., but have dealt with this episode longer than any other with not much improvement for the timeline. I am also trying to learn mindfulness with slow results.
I know to be patient but it gets really hard the longer this episode lasts.
I am just frustrated with myself and this situation.
