Loooove this one! It’s fun to try to find the blessing in the seemingly bad.

hey Sarrlight...looking back at your picture you posted of your art work...wow....I can see where you could go with color on it from looking at gerrerds pic posted above...it would be amazing...like Joan Miro: 'The Ladder of Escape'. All of Miro's work reminds me of the same feeling I got from your picture you posted.

I’ll have to look up Miro. Thank you so much for your perspective and for thinking of me. You are helping more than you know...I’m in a really bad depressive state and feeling alone, so I much appreciate you taking the time to write.

I understand Starrlight, I really do...when I was in that dark place some years ago...doing something creative was a positive outlet, even though I was just doing it to express my sadness...just type in the artists name into google or duckduckgo search engine..select 'photo'....and you'll get pics of their work...they are extremely famous...Picasso famous....you have potential....and it's therapeutic.....looking forward to your next addition.... :)

I am a big Miro fan - funnily enough my daughters early artwork resembled Miro's work almost to a T and I often wonder if we lose perspective as we get older

I kinda think I lost my drive as I got older....I used to be driven till I finished a piece when I studied art....and for years after...but it sort of faded over this last 10 years, like my spark is dimming sadly. I'm okay...dealing with stuff like everyone...but I miss that zest and drive to complete a piece..I was mainly a ceramic artist...but did a little painting,... badly...

Completely and wholeheartedly 'feel your anguish' 😕 studied fine arts and multimedia design and the spark also kind of just... got lost! It's soul crushing to say the least. I tend to paint when I'm very low and I think I can almost fill a gallery with my incomplete pieces 😞

if you also like Picasso's work IlanaSchutte .... there is a 'great' series called Genius:Picasso on the National Geographic channel. It's done impeccably well..and cast beautifully.

that is a great picture and great saying....hard to do some days when we have the blues...but it's absolutely true....once a little cloud or two clear, here comes the sun....
