about to cry cause work stress

We hired a new lady about 1 1/2 months ago. I work at a small shop, when we work together it's just us. The store is super simple, yet she's still making mistakes. It's frustrating, especially since I don't really get a break when I work with her (things I've told my boss & manager). This evening we got slammed with a lot of balloon orders, she was like no help. She literally disappeared on me at one pointGot it all done basically at closing. Locked the door, saw it was after 6, the time she's off, told her it was her quitting time. She got snappy with me.... that K (manager)has no problem with staying after to help. Normally 6 rolls around & she's ready to go.... I've been told to make sure we leave on time. She said something about wanting the same experience & I am making her uncomfortable.... basically implying I'm a b... I told her I'm sorry she feels that way. That was the end of it.... she said those things as she was walking out the door. I'm so upset.... didn't call my boss or the manager.... sure I'll be the one to get a lecture or worse. I have to work with this lady tomorrow, Tues. are a day the manager definitely can't work.... I don't know what to do.... so upset.... have a 30 minute plus train ride home & want to cry & scream

People at my job suck too. Do you guys have cameras? Some people are just in titled A holes. My coworkers do that to me all the time. Like it's ok for them to clock out early when I come in to relieve them but when I try to clock out on time they act like I suck. I've started saying I have to get out on time for appointments and am very vocal with my bosses about coworkers being A holes. You worked there longer , I'm sure you have a better repertoire with management even if they do get to talk to them first. I'm sorry you have to work with that lady tomorrow. I wish I had better words to help.

Thank you... we do have cameras, the back doesn't work though. I am horrible at speaking up, especially at work. When I do they act like I'm being unreasonable. When I told about her not getting it yet, was told but she's nice. Nice is good, but you have to know how told the job too. I would think a month & a half you would be comfortable at it. Last time there was an issue like this, was told we have to learn to get along. So I'm sure, I'll be to blame.... even though I do my job & been there forever... 😧

Man this girl sounds like a trip! Is there any way to explain to your manager what happened? Do you think this girl is going to go to your manager about what happened??

I wish I knew... haven't heard anything yet. I know I was frustrated, but it wasn't like I was yelling or anything. I just wanted to close relatively on time, finish my job & go home. Chances are probably won't hear from manager until Wenesday, unless she calls me.... I plan on talking to her or my boss about it, especially if we don't settle it ourselves.... trying to figure out what to say. Feel so horrible 😢
