Mixing meds!

I have recently been taking fluoxetine 30mg 1 per day, and a friend has told me I shouldn't be taking them as well as my 3x50mg of amitriptyline at night, I am just wondering if anyone takes these two drugs and is it dangerous? Thx for ur opinions!!

gpgogirl recommendation is a good one. Please speak to your prescribing physician, particularly if the same physician RX both medications.

My problem was with the amitriptyline and duloxatine, taking them together, my heart was beating fast am pains in my chest, wel after being checked at my Drs, had an ECG, was fine, blood pressure great, dr thinks it was a panic attack, and I think she was right, gonna stick with these tablets for another 2weeks an see how I go, thanks for getting back to me!

it says avoid alcohol on the box but I dnt really drink due to alot of my meds! But thanks!
