Have a look at the side effects on drugs.com and then you decide.

It causes anxiety and much much more. Better to find something natural as this would not seem to be a good drug.

Hope that helps.x

It worked wonders for me. The first month on it was pretty bad, but once it kicked in and started working it was great. Use the search feature on here and type in sertraline and you will find a ton of threads with people talking about their experiences with it.

I had it pretty easy in that regard. I have a business I can do from Home and do as much or as little as I want. I didn’t really do much for a whole month. I was able to sleep a lot during the day.

My mom lives down the street, so she came over and helped take of the kids while my wife was at work. That was a big help.

I took ginger root capsules for the nausea and ordered a product called Sea Bands that you wear on your wrists. That seemed to help with the worst of the nausea

I didn’t have much appetite and lost 11 pounds the first 30 Days.

It’s tough, but you just have to stick it out it wasn’t until day 33 that I really felt all the side effects were gone and then another 4-5 Days for the med to really kick in.

Just keep telling yourself that whatever you are feeling is caused by the meds. It’s not your anxiety spiking up and the med not working. It does take the whole 4-6 weeks to really start feeling it working.

The side effects aren’t constant. I had days where I felt pretty good. If you have school or a job to be at, it’s going to be tough, but try to stick it out and ride out the side effects if you can. I am 100 times better since getting on it.

Also, I found that I felt better and had less side effects during the day when I started taking it at night before going to bed.

I was prescribed that at one point. I found it didn't do much the doc raised my dose to the point we couldn't go any higher. So then he wanted to give me another med to take with it I said no thanks. Now I am starting effexor will see how this goes!
