I had a meeting with my counselor today and went in with many problems plaguing me. I had an issue with my oldest friend and was feeling more alone than ever. By the time I left I realized that I am not the problem with every relationship, other people also have issues and create problems as well. So I reached out to my friend instead of isolating myself and reacting in anger to her ignoring me, and she reacted well. But even if she didn't, I still felt like I could have handled it ok. I feel like I made at least a little progress today and am pretty happy! 😊

Good for you! People with depression tend to beat themselves up, and blame themselves for everything that goes wrong. Your therapist pointed you in the right direction. Just keep moving forward!
Sweet! So happy for you!
If she's truly a friend...she will understand....and it's really terrific you got some good work done with your therapist. Glad your realizing that other people have issues too, and they can let them take responsibility for their own actions. Amazing how much lighter you feel when the weight of the world is off your shoulders...and we let everyone around us do some of the heavy lifting.
