I have trouble getting myself to take my medication. Don’t understand why this is. I know that if I just took it every day I would start feeling better. I get in a good swing of things and maybe do it for a few weeks, but then depression sinks in for whatever reason and I have trouble having.l energy to get out of bed, which includes getting out of bed to take my meds. Anyone else struggle taking care of themselves? I don’t know if it is because I don’t care enough about myself. Maybe that’s the problem.

Yeah I’ve been there, but you really have to force yourself out of bed or keep everything by the bed.

Could you keep your dose by your bed so it's there when you need it (provided that it's safe and out of reach of curious children / pets )

Depression will do that to you. First of all you need to know that God loves you and that is all that really matters. He accepts you just the way you are. Because of Jesus we are comepletely forgiven. If you reach out to Him you are a new creation. You have the power to take care of yourself. You just have to believe it. I still have depression and panic episodes on occasion. But I am never alone. If you don't already know Him. Please invite Him to be your friend. I know I sound like one of those fanatics. Maybe I am one. I just know where my strength comes from. Take care.
