Zoloft. Nausea

So I am currently ramping up my Zoloft to 150. I have been over a week where I was weaned off the lexapro. I feel like the bottom dropped out. I felt so good last week. Now the anxiety is back and I am so nauseous. Any experience with this?

It’s normal to feel that way from the side effects. It takes time. My nausea and heightened anxiety lasted a full 5 weeks before I started feeling better. Going to 150mg is a pretty high dose and will definitely take time for your body to get use to that much. You need to tough it out and give it at least 4-6 weeks to start working.

For the nausea, try taking ginger root capsules or ginger candy. Also you might look into getting wrist bands called “Sea Bands”. They can be bought on Amazon for less than $10 and they really helped me.

I’m headed out right now so can’t write anymore. Use the search feature on this site and search for Zoloft or Sertraline and you’ll find a ton of posts and replies about it that should give you a bunch of info.

Hang in there if you can and just know it’s the side effects from the medicine. It will get better if you give it time.
