Starting A Full Tablet Of Sertraline.

Today I’m starting a full tablet of Sertraline. I’ve been on it for a week and was just taking 1/2 a tablet. Now going up to a full tablet after a week as the psychiatrist told me to do and hope the drug’s effectiveness increases. I’ve read for most people it takes at least a couple of weeks, maybe a month for some people, guess it just depends. At least I have that therapy session starting tomorrow morning. Hopefully that’ll help.

yeah, your right some drugs do take a while, hope this works well for you.

Thanks for sharing. My next appointment with the psychiatrist is in about 3 weeks. Hopefully I’m feeling a lot better by then. By that time I’ll have been on Sertraline for about a month.

I just started on this med on Monday.. my psychiatrist told me it will take 4-5 weeks to be effective.
